As part of the CHINLONE project and coherently with its mission, this volume aims to highlight the viewpoint and knowledge of professionals and academics working within Myanmar higher education system. In particular, the volume focuses on the great transformations that the Myanmar higher education sector experienced in the last 10 years by tackling challenges and opportunities through the lenses of specific macro-themes: the role of ethnic education, the importance of quality assurance mechanisms and student-centred approaches, the need for capacity-building programs and the successes and sustainability of internationalization structures.
