CBI is an international Open Innovation program aimed at generating new business ideas, implemented as part of IdeaSquare, CERN Geneva's Open Innovation Lab.

The program targets students from engineering, design, business, science, humanities, law and medicine in order to create mixed and interdisciplinary teams.

The project focuses on the challenges of contemporary society in the spirit of open innovation to create solutions that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, through methodological approaches inspired by CERN technologies and developed through the mentorship of experts in the field.
